La Ritournelee by Sebastien Tellier

(don't you just love his name? rolls off sooo smoothly in French)

here's a review from Film Zeus:(http://filmzeus.pressbin.com/music/sebastien.tellier/la.ritournelle)

Sebastien Tellier’s “La Ritournelle” makes a clear connection between the close relationship between modern jazz and electronica. Both jazz and electronica have the capacity to evoke the deepest of emotions with a single, perfect chord progression. A DJ could spin “La Ritournelle” at a rave, and the club kids would never know the difference; they’d be too busy dancing to the smooth, propulsive snare that almost sounds like a loop before swooning to the heartfelt strings. Tellier waits four minutes before killing you softly with his love lyrics. “I want to spend my life with you,” he sings. “Love is to share, mine is for you.” Tellier’s love can be felt in every beat, in every rising string, in every cascading piano chord, composed perfectly by someone who truly understands that the emotional pull of jazz and electronica aren’t so different.
