love at first sight
Sometimes I wonder about the idea of love at first sight. I’ve had a few occasions—three that I can recall at this moment—where I felt a definite spark and immediate attraction to someone I had just met. But I wouldn’t call it love at first sight. It was just that something that’s hard to explain. You find the person attractive and suddenly feel like a 15 year old with a crush that can’t stutter a syllable out when you’re around him. You end up thinking about him, but most likely do nothing about it; at least that’s what I did in those three instances.
There is more to love, at least it seems so to me, than an instant attraction. Or maybe I’m wrong. But love in the long run is an intellectualized attraction. There are physical and hormonal things, but in the end what keeps it going is the two people’s ability to communicate and make each other laugh. Great sex also helps.
But I guess that it all boils down to how you define love. Within my definition, love at first sight is impossible, because love is something that grows over many many years. But sometimes I do wonder about those people that say they saw one another and they just knew, and they have been together for 50 years. Maybe it’s a combination of things.

You're right. It was Love at first sight for us. How could I forget? Maybe we should get married?
How do I know when I'm in love? When no sacrifice is too big, no distance is too great. When every time I think of her, I feel happier than the moment before. When I see her in everything I do and everywhere I am. When her love in return wraps me like a warm blanket. Then I know.
Well it doesnt seem like Poland is too far is it? Especially when you are already there...hope you both have a great life together.
I'm assuming that the love at first sight speach didnt involve someone you have been with for a very long time is it? but maybe someone that you met in 2005...?
